Maybe, or maybe Zaheer would have come up with another attack plan. She was a key player, but she wasn’t Zaheer.
I wouldn’t say it’s the reason, but it’s certainly a huge catalyst. I bet Zaheer would have found a way regardless.
But I mean, what a way to go omg all those theories of Suyin being in the Red Lotus are certainly shot down.
I don’t really want to post pics until it’s up on Nick but omg some of those scenes were incredible. This episode was on a whole other level. Some of those shots were downright terrifying.
*shivers* i can’t wait to read all the fics set after this finale
I’M IN TOO MUCH PAIN TO WRITE ANYTHING
im too emotionally traumatized to sleep and im not ready to watch it again im just sitting here wallowing in my pain
i’m so upset
I’m outraged yet satisfied, I’m sad (but in the happiest way), and I’m dead inside but SO ALIVE.
A livestream of the finale is being held RIGHT NOW: http://new.livestream.com/accounts/6608168/events/3315482 (You’ll need an account but hurry!)
lol it was indeed awesome and beautifully done
But to Korra, it sure feels like that right about now. With someone as physical and active and reliant on fighting to protect others as she is, you take all that away and you’re basically killing her spirit. She’s in a horrible, horrible place and clearly in a lot of pain.
I also want to say: This hurts a lot right now for viewers, too, but has incredible potential for those who are going through horrible parts of life. If Korra pulls through this (and I’m confident she will, this is a show with huge themes of love and hope), she can be an incredible example. This show hasn’t shied away from people with handicaps or disabilities before, and now it’s going to tackle depression, too? Incredible.
